Through the years I have come to believe that there is a group of people for whom regular therapy does not suit very well. For many they thought of sitting across from a therapist and share your feelings is not only terrifying but absolutely against their nature. My practice is targeted toward these individuals. It may be men, women, who are more “do-ers” than talkers, or children and play therapy.

With these individuals I offer many therapeutic applications which are designed to create a more natural while still challenging, safe, and open experience. This might include outdoor or wilderness therapy, storytelling, active therapeutic approaches, and image based and imaginative therapy.

I have worked with populations dealing with depression, loss of identity, self-esteem issues and confidence, childhood abuse, substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma, and sexual identity issues. While my therapy is specifically targeted to work with men, it also applies well to women, adolescents, and children. In essence, it is designed to meet you where you are without educating you before you can start therapy. Therapy starts from the moment you first meet me. A therapy specifically applied to YOU!
